China Holds the Keys to U.S. Military
“The U.S. military’s dependence on China is enormous. Aircraft carriers, missiles, fighter jets, missile defence systems and tanks all use components or materials sourced from China.
China is the largest foreign supplier of critical technology to the Department of Defense — even ahead of close allies like Britain and Japan,” The Hill reported.
Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes said he couldn’t cut ties with China because his company depends on thousands of suppliers there.
This dependence gives China unprecedented leverage.
